Dear Participant,

The AFM & SAG-AFTRA Intellectual Property Rights Distribution Fund (“Fund”) is pleased to forward the enclosed royalties collected on your behalf. These royalties represent revenues from the Fund’s audiovisual agreements with AIE (Spain), GWFF (Germany) and UBC (Brazil).

These royalties cover the use of both licensed sound recordings and original underscores in audiovisual works in these territories, such as music contained in a motion picture or television film broadcast; music contained in a motion picture or television film exhibited in cinemas; and Private Copy audiovisual royalties. The Fund distributes these audiovisual royalties to both the featured and non-featured performers whose musical performances are contained in the audiovisual works.

Dear Participant,

We are pleased to inform you that the annual SAG-AFTRA and Industry Sound Recordings Distribution Fund (“SRDF”) distribution was made on today. Those with direct deposit may receive payment earlier. SAG-AFTRA and the Recording Industry formed the SRDF, a jointly administered entity to collect and distribute revenue payable by the Industry under the SAG-AFTRA National Code of Fair Practice for Sound Recordings.

As part of its National Code of Fair Practice for Sound Recordings, SAG-AFTRA negotiated payments to be made by signatory record labels for the exploitation of sound Recordings to be distributed to performers on those recordings. These funds are derived from a percentage of record label revenues generated through the digital exploitation, audio streaming, music video, and licensing fees.

You will receive your 2022 SRDF’s distribution payment directly from General Entertainment Partners (“GEP”), so please look for your check or bank deposit coming from GEP. In addition, you can access your statement electronically through your online access account at www.afmsagaftrafund.org. If you do not have an online account, use this link to Sign Up, and follow the directions to create an account.

We continue to encourage all Participants to enroll in direct deposit (Individual) (Loan Out) to ensure payments are received in a timely and more secure manner. Do your part in eliminating the possibility of lost, stolen, delayed or stale-dated checks and help reduce our postage fees.
