Dear Participant,
We are happy to inform you that a distribution from the SAG-AFTRA and Industry Sound Recordings Distribution Fund (SRDF) was made on Monday July 31st, 2023. Those of you who signed up for direct deposit should have already received your payment.
The SRDF is a collaborative organization between SAG-AFTRA and the recording industry that collects and distributes revenue from recordings produced under the SAG-AFTRA National Code of Fair Practice for Sound Recordings.
SAG-AFTRA negotiates with record labels to ensure that performers receive payment for the use of their sound recordings. These funds come from a portion of the revenue generated by record labels through digital downloads, streaming, and sync licensing fees.
You will receive your 2023 SRDF distribution payment directly from General Entertainment Partners (GEP). Please keep an eye out for a check or a bank deposit from GEP. You can access your statement electronically by Login into your online account. If you don't have an online account, you can create one by going to Sign Up and following the instructions.
We would like to thank those who have signed up for direct deposit. Thank you for taking this step to ensure efficient and secure payment processing.
We strongly recommend everyone sign up for direct deposit. By doing so, you can help eliminate the risk of lost, stolen, delayed, or expired checks, reduce our printing and postage fees, and most importantly, receive your payment as quickly as possible.
